Preparatory School for International Students (PSIS) of the International Education Center (IEC) is a division of the Institute of Extended Education and Pre-University Training of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. We offer language instruction in the Ukrainian language in Lviv, Ukraine. We teach international students in the Ukrainian language and traditions as well as provide additional preparation for their future study programs in the universities of Ukraine. We have been teaching International Students since 1975. During this time approximately 3700 students from 70 countries have been taught at our School.
The classes start normally in September.
Fall semester: September 1 - December 31.
HOW TO ENROLL
Your application should consist of the following documents:
- Application Form - UAP;
- Copy of your Diploma and Transcript of Records (High School Diploma and Transcript of Records – for Bachelor's students, Bachelor's Diploma and Transcript of Records - for Master's students, Master's Diploma and Transcript of Records - for PhD students);
- Scan of passport.

The deadline for submission of the documents on UAP-1 is August 31, 2021.
The deadline for submission of the documents on UAP-2 is December 31, 2021.
PSIS will examine your documents and in case of positive decision, the university will issue
Letter of Invitation to apply for a long term visa for study at PSIS Course - Ukrainian for Academic Purposes (UAP). You will need to present this invitation to the Ukrainian Embassy/Consulate for your home country to obtain visa. Please contact
