What documents should you take to the university
To become a university student, you need:
The next day after arriving in Kyiv, according to “Procedure for recruitment (training) of foreigners and stateless persons”, approved by Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine №1541 from 01.11.2013 with changes made in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science №1272 from 11.12.2015, submit to the Foreign Students’ Office the following documents:
- Original and certified copy of the the previous education document (Higher Secondary School Certificate);
- Original and certified copy of the supplement to the previous education document with grades (points);
- In case of transfer or renewal to study, you must provide an academic background issued by a foreign / Ukrainian educational institution;
- In order to obtain a master's degree or postgraduate education, it is necessary to provide the original and a copy of the document on the previous degree (level) of higher education, credits received, length of study and academic achievement;
- A notarized copy or original of the foreigner's passport or a document certifying the stateless person, translated into Ukrainian;
- 12 photo cards (35 × 45 mm);
- A copy of the Ukrainian foreign certificate (if any).
The documents referred to in paragraphs 1-4 shall be:
- certified in the country of issue in the manner officially applied in that country for such certification;
- the diplomatic establishment of Ukraine abroad, unless otherwise provided by the international treaties of Ukraine;
- translated into Ukrainian with a notarized translation certificate.
All documents about complete secondary education of foreigners shall undergo the procedure of recognition in the territory of Ukraine in accordance with the current legislation.
- pass an introductory interview for knowledge of the language at a level sufficient for mastering the educational material;
- pass an introductory interview in the specialized disciplines.
If the interview is successful, you shall pay for your studies and submit your original passport with a visa to the Foreign student's Department for getting temporary residence permits.
