ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF UKRAINE ON HIGHER EDUCATION, THE ORDER OF THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE DATED NOVEMBER 1, 2013, NO. 1541 “SOME ISSUES OF THE RECRUITMENT AND TRAINING (INTERNSHIP) OF FOREIGNERS AND STATELESS PERSONS”, THE ORDER OF THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE OF UKRAINE DATED MAY 5, 2015, NO. 504 “CERTAIN ISSUES OF RECOGNITION OF FOREIGN DOCUMENTS ON EDUCATION IN UKRAINE”  The Document recognition procedure required to continue studying is carried out by a higher education institution prior to the second semester of the first year of study of the Document holder. 
  1. The Document recognition procedure, except for the cases stipulated in paragraph 3 hereof, consists of:
1) verification of the Document and its annex; 2) confirmation of the status of the education institution and/or the Program based on the results of which the Document is issued; 3) assessment of the qualification or the period of study stipulated in the Document and establishment of the equivalence of the educational and professional degree in Ukraine, academic and/or professional rights.
  1. Recognition is conducted upon the application submitted to the International department of the University
  2. An applicant should submit the following documents:
1) The document on previous education; 2) The annex to the Document and/or other documents containing information about the content of the educational program. Documents specified in subparagraphs 1, 2 hereof should be certified in the country of their origin in a manner officially used in this country (Apostille is required for member countries of the Hague Convention of 1961 Abolishing the Requirement of Legislation for Foreign Public Documents). If the Document is not certified in the issuing country in an officially used manner or if certification does not confirm its authenticity, the University takes measures to verify this Document; 3) copies of documents on previous (secondary, professional, or higher) education if any (where applicable); 4) copies of identification documents; 5) application; 6) application (consent) of the Document holder for processing his/her personal data according to the Law of Ukraine “On Protection of Personal Data”.
