Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine is a leading postgraduate institution in Ukraine, which is actively engaged in international activities aimed at ensuring high competitiveness at the external and internal educational services market.
The need to build and disseminate the culture of faithful recognition of foreign educational qualifications in Ukraine, to establish an exchange the information and experience in an effort to promote the development of academic mobility, to provide opportunities for lifelong learning, has prompted the University to join the Memorandum on the creation and development of all-Ukrainian network for recognition of foreign educational qualifications.
The proactive role of the University in this matter was noted by our foreign partners. Thus, since the beginning of 2019, Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine has been presented in the registry of the UK National Recognition Information Center. The registry unites high standing institutions from more than 190 countries all around the world that promote best practices in the recognition of foreign educational qualifications.
The Ukrainian Network for Recognition of Foreign Educational Qualifications UaReNet was established by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Information Center for Academic Mobility ENIC Ukraine (SE “Information and Image Center”) on February 18, 2020.
INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION
The University has become the first in Ukraine among higher medical educational institutions member society of the International Personnel Academy UNESCO (since 2001), the European Academy of Natural Sciences (since 2008), the Association of Medical Education in Europe – АМЕЕ (since 2011). Today Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine is a member of about 40 international organizations, including the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA), the International Academy of Science and Higher Education (IASHE), the International Informatization Academy (IIA), etc.
The University is included on the following registers of the USA:
- System of International Certification (SIC);
- Data Universal Numbering System (D-U-N-S);
- Employer Identification Number (EIN), NATO Commercial and Government Entity (NATO CAGE);
- Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
Due to this, the research and educational personnel of the University can receive grants of the Congress of the USA and the National Institute of Health of the USA.
SIGNING AGREEMENTS. PARTNERSHIP
An outstanding event was the signing of an Agreement on Cooperation between Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine and the leader of the European medical educational space, Karolinska Institute (Sweden). The Karolinska Institute is the flagship of world and European medical science and education; it belongs to the top three higher medical institutions in Europe and the world's top ten leaders. The Institute has the exclusive right to award the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. In 2016, there was a high level of engagement with representatives of WHO, UNICEF, the German Federal Government, etc. The list of partners in international cooperation is expanding every year.

Annually, foreign delegations attend the University. Over 70 academics of our institution visit foreign countries. Leading scientists from Germany, Greece, Switzerland, Austria, Great Britain have the status of Emeritus Professor and Doctor Honoris Causa of the University.
