SHORT-TERM STUDENT PROGRAMS

The submission deadline depends on the program. Each country announces its deadline for submission of documents and requirements. The working language of the programs is mainly English. In some cases, depending on the program, knowledge of the national language of the country where the program is implemented is required. Among the most common short-term academic programs for students of Petro Mohyla National University may be interesting: Study Tours to Poland (STP) Deadline: spring / autumn (deadline dates are adjusted). Language: Russian STP for students is one of the first cyclical Polish programs addressed to young people from Eastern Europe. Gifted students aged 18-21 from Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine and the Russian Federation are invited to take part in study tours in Poland. In order to participate in the program, each student must submit an individual application and pass a competitive selection. Trips are held in groups of 11 people twice a year - in spring and autumn. Every year, more than 200 students visit Poland as part of the STP program. The main goal of the program is to help participants become conscious citizens with an active life position. A special role in STP study tours is given to the study of the activities of non-governmental organizations and their role in modern society. All costs are covered. Study visits to Gdynia Deadline: varies (approximately in spring) Language: Russian. Study visits to Gdynia are a great opportunity to get to know Poland, learn more about the administrative and educational systems, as well as about the government, business, media, state and public organizations, get acquainted with Polish culture and history. Young, active, enterprising students or representatives of public organizations and youth organizations aged 20-30, citizens of Ukraine who are fluent in Russian are invited to participate. Objective: to show program participants the development of Poland since the fall of communism. All costs are covered. Cultural and language internships in Bulgaria (supported by the Bulgarian government) Deadline: May 1 this year. Language: Bulgarian. The exchange takes place annually in summer (two or three time per year). Duration: 14 days. Active and proactive students and teachers who study Bulgarian language and are interested in the culture of Bulgaria are invited to participate. The program consists of lectures and activities related to the acquaintance of the participants of the program with the Bulgarian culture and language (excursions, visits to museums, etc.). The trips are organized by the Center for Bulgarian Language and Culture of the Petro Mohyla National University of Ukraine and the Ternovsky Bulgarian Society named after I. Vazov. Financial support is provided by the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria. Business Practice in Nord University During the week, students majoring in Economics have the opportunity to attend lectures on the theory of Economics from Norwegian professors, get acquainted with the culture and education system of Norway, as well as get an unforgettable experience from tours of the fjords. The practice takes place every year in August. Deadline: April-March each year. Language skills: English, B2. Accommodation and food costs are covered, transport costs will be reimbursed.
