The Preparatory department for foreign citizens of the Dnipro State Medical University was established in 1996 to prepare foreign citizens and stateless citizens who have completed secondary education to enter the international faculties of the university and other higher education institutions of Ukraine.
The main purpose of the Preparatory department is to study Ukrainian language and prepare foreign citizens to enter the university or other higher educational institutions of Ukraine in the chosen specialty, as well as study Ukrainian language at the courses by foreign citizens living in Ukraine in diplomatic, economic or other matters and having a desire to speak Ukrainian fluently.
The university has comfortable hostels for students, a developed sports base, which includes a sports complex, a swimming pool, a country health camp.
