Foundation Course is designed for international students who want to acquire communication skills necessary for effective integration into Ukrainian educational environment and gain knowledge of basic disciplines (physics, mathematics, biology, chemistry, geography, informatics, fundamentals of economics) necessary for successful enrollment and study in Ukraine. International students often use this course as a foundation year to study abroad – this is an alternative pathway to ordinary enrollment to undergraduate course. Our University offer Foundation Courses in Ukrainian and English languages (upon needs and requests of the students). For international students from French and Portuguese speaking countries, our University offers Foundation Course with intensive English language knowledge, as well as studying all the subjects in English. The curriculum provides the study of the English language and basic disciplines in English. Foundation course program content can be adapted to the needs and upon request of the group of students. Students can study at one of 3-University departments:

• Pre-Medical
• Pre-Engineering
• Business

Foundation course in English is a good chance to improve communication skills and set a good base for continued study abroad. International students are offered bright excursions and trips around the Poltava Region and all over Ukraine. They will have a chance to see the most picturesque places, to taste the most delicious food and to become closer to Ukrainian culture and traditions. This Program can be offered at any time throughout the year and for 10 months. There are two intakes per year (request the details here admission@puet.edu.ua). For Foundation Course Students University offers

• pick up service at the airport/railway/bus station and transfer to Poltava (accommodation is arranged in advance)
• assistance on accommodation and catering for all students from abroad (charged additionally)
• health care (upon request)
• assistance with administrative and legal formalities (registration in the Migration Service upon arrival)
• spacious lecture halls
• effective study techniques, modern equipment

Upon successful completion of the Foundation Course students are awarded with Certificate, recognized in any Ukrainian University. Those students, who want to get their degree in Engineering or Medicine, can use it for admission in any other University of Ukraine.
