Preparatory department for foreign citizens

Foreigners who do not speak Ukrainian undergo preliminary training in the state language at the preparatory department of DSTU. During the training period, students of the preparatory department, under the guidance of highly qualified teachers, study the Ukrainian language and gain practical skills in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, and other disciplines. Study group of students 8 - 12 people. Training period - 10 months. Upon completion of training at the preparatory department, students who have completed the whole curriculum and successfully passed the final exams receive a Certificate of Completion of a particular type, approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The Certificate of Completion of the Preparatory Department allows the applicant to enter the university to obtain the first (Bachelor's) level of higher education. At  Dniprovsky State Technical University, training for the first (Bachelor's) level of higher education is carried out according to the following educational and professional programs: Faculty of Management, Economics, Sociology, and Philology: 035 Philology (German languages and literature (translation included)); 054 Sociology; 071 Accounting and Auditing; 072 Finance, Banking, and Insurance; 073 Management.  Faculty of Electronics and Power Engineering: 113 Applied Mathematics; 121 Software Engineering; 141 Electric Power Industry, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics; 144 Heat Energy; 153 Micro- and nanosystem Technology; 171 Electronics; 172 Telecommunications and Radio Engineering.  Faculty of Metallurgy: 101 Ecology; 104 Physics and Astronomy; 132 Materials Science; 136 Metallurgy; 161 Chemical Technology and Engineering; 162 Biotechnology and Bioengineering. Faculty of Mechanical Engineering: 131 Applied Mechanics; 133 Industrial Engineering; 274 Motor transport.
