To enter the Preparatory Department of Foreign Citizens of the Center for International Activities

Foreign nationals and stateless persons who have completed secondary, secondary or higher education but who require language training for further study at higher education institutions of Ukraine in the chosen fields of study (specialties) are admitted to the Preparatory Department of Foreign Citizens (PDFC) of the Center for International Education (CIA). After receiving an Invitation for study, a long-term visa "D" and upon arrival at the academy, the applicant submits the following documents to the PDFC of CIA:
  1. a copy of the passport or citizenship document;
  2. statement;
  3. questionnaire of the established sample;
  4. original document on complete secondary or secondary education;
  5. a copy of the document on complete secondary or secondary education;
  6. original supplement to the document on secondary or secondary education;
  7. a copy of the supplement to the document on secondary or secondary education;
  8. current emergency medical care policy (except for foreigners who came from countries with which the agreement on free medical care was signed);
  9. 35 x 45 mm photo cards on matte paper - 4 pcs.;
  10. a copy of the certificate of a foreign Ukrainian (if any).
The documents referred to in items 1,5,7 must be translated into Ukrainian and certified by a notary public! The enrollment of students in the Preparatory Department of Foreign Citizens is carried out by ONUT after the submission of all the above documents, on the basis of the concluded Agreement on the provision of educational services and payment for training.

To enter in the educational qualification level "Bachelor"

For admission to the basic faculty of the University by Educational Qualification Level (hereinafter - EQL) "Bachelor", foreign citizen or stateless person submits the following documents to the Department of Education of Foreign Citizens (DEFC) of the Centre of International Education (CIA):
  1. a copy of the passport or citizenship document;
  2. statement;
  3. questionnaire of the established sample;
  4. original document on complete secondary or secondary education;
  5. a copy of the document on complete secondary or secondary education;
  6. original supplement to the document on secondary or secondary education;
  7. a copy of the supplement to the document on secondary or secondary education;
  8. certificate of graduation of the preparatory faculty, department (unit) for foreigners and stateless persons (if any);
  9. current emergency medical care policy (except for foreigners who came from countries with which the agreement on free medical care was signed);
  10. 35 x 45 mm photo cards on matte paper - 4 pcs.;
  11. a copy of the certificate of a foreign Ukrainian (if any).
The documents referred to in items 1,5,7 must be translated into Ukrainian and certified by a notary public! A prerequisite for enrolling a foreigner to the University to receive a Bachelor's Degree is to have complete secondary, secondary or higher education, to have a language of study at a level sufficient for mastering the study material, which is confirmed by the conclusion of the ONUT Admissions Committee. Foreigners are enrolled in the basic faculties of the University as a result of the interview from July 1 to October 31 this year inclusive. All enrolled foreign students are issued student tickets of the established sample. Documents on the education of foreigners enrolled in bachelor's degree programs, issued previously by educational institutions of other countries, must undergo recognition in Ukraine in accordance with applicable law. CIA staff provide advisory assistance in completing this procedure at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. In the absence of confirmation of the authenticity of the education document or the inconsistency of the level of education received by a foreigner, the University shall deduct this student.

To enter in the educational qualification level "Master"

For admission to the basic faculty of the University at the Educational-Qualification Level (EQL) "Master", a foreign citizen or stateless person submits to the Department of Education of Foreign Citizens the following documents:
  1. a copy of the passport or citizenship document;
  2. statement;
  3. questionnaire of the established sample;
  4. original Bachelor of Education Certificate;
  5. copy of the Bachelor of Education Certificate;
  6. the original Bachelor of Education Certificate application;
  7. a copy of the Bachelor's Degree in Education Certificate;
  8. certificate of graduation of the preparatory faculty, department (unit) for foreigners and stateless persons (if any);
  9. current emergency medical care policy (except for foreigners who came from countries with which the agreement on free medical care was signed);
  10. 35 x 45 mm photo cards on matte paper - 4 pcs.;
  11. certificate of graduation of the Preparatory Faculty (Department) of Foreign Citizens (if any);
  12. current emergency medical care policy (except for foreigners who came from countries with which the agreement on free medical care was signed);
  13. 35 x 45 mm photo cards on matte paper - 4 pcs.;
  14. a copy of the certificate of a foreign Ukrainian (if any).

In the absence of confirmation of the authenticity of the education document or the inconsistency of the level of education received by a foreigner, the University shall deduct this student.

To enter to Postgraduate studies

Postgraduate students who have higher master's degrees (specialist qualification level) are admitted to the competition on a competitive basis and have submitted in due time all the documents required for admission in accordance with the Regulations for admission to ONUT.

Applicants to the postgraduate program submit the following documents:

  1. application for the rector of the academy, specifying the specialty (educational and scientific program), department, institute, form of education and sources of funding. In the application the entrant confirms with a personal signature the fact of acquaintance with the Rules of admission to study at ONUT and these Rules, the existing license and the certificate of accreditation of the corresponding educational and scientific program;
  2. personnel record sheet (with 3 × 4 cm photo, passport data), certified by the personnel department of the company, institution or organization where the entrant works; a certified copy of the employment record (if any);
  3. a copy of the diploma of the state sample of the master or specialist with the indication of the specialty (qualification) obtained, a copy of the application to it, (persons who have received relevant education abroad - a copy of the recognized diploma);
  4. a copy of a document (one of the documents) certifying the person stipulated by the Law of Ukraine “On the Unified State Demographic Register and documents confirming citizenship, certifying the person or his special status” (2 copies) and 2 copies of the card of the individual - the taxpayer;
  5. list and originals or notarized (notarized or ONUT Admissions Committee) copies of published scientific works and inventions (if any);
  6. abstract with a research proposal or achievement in the chosen specialty;
  7. the conclusion of the alleged scientific supervisor on the results of the interview with the applicant for graduate study with a review of the research proposal or achievements in the chosen specialty, which is visited by the head of the department;
  8. four 3x4 cm color photo cards;
  9. recommendation of the faculty council for the graduates of the magistracy of the current year (if any) with a signed signature of the dean of the faculty;
  10. originals or notarized (notarized or ONUT Admissions Committee) copies of awards received following the results of international, all-Ukrainian student contests of the research works , Olympiads and scientific conferences (if any) obtained during the magistracy (at the Specialist's degree) years);
  11. submission to postgraduate study from higher education institution, scientific institution, organization (for external entrants for the intended purpose);
  12. current emergency medical care policy (except for foreigners who came from countries with which the agreement on free medical care was signed);
  13. a valid TOEFL test certificate, or International English Language Testing System, or Sambridge English Language Assessment certificate (not lower than B2 level of Common European Language Education Recommendations or equivalent); German - a valid TestDaF certificate (not lower than B2 level of the Common European Recommendations for Language Education or similar); French - a valid DELF or DALF certificate (not lower than B2 level of the Common European Recommendations on Language Education or similar) (if any);
  14. in the case of submitting documents for non-accredited educational and scientific programs, the entrant shall personally sign a separate document on awareness of the lack of accreditation and familiarization with part six of Article 7 of the Law of Ukraine on Higher Education;
  15. a copy of the certificate of a foreign Ukrainian (if any). When submitting an application, the entrant personally submits:
Copies of documents will not be accepted without the originals.

To enter the Doctoral program

Doctoral studies are accepted to persons who have a PhD degree, scientific achievements and published works in a chosen scientific specialty and who are able to carry out basic, exploratory and applied scientific research at a high scientific level. Persons wishing to enroll in doctoral studies to obtain a doctoral degree shall submit the following documents to the department of postgraduate study and doctoral studies:
  1. a statement addressed to the rector of the academy, indicating the department, institute and sources of funding. In the application, the entrant affirms with a personal signature the fact of familiarization with the Rules of admission to study at ONUT;
  2. a personal record of personnel accounting with a photo of 30 × 40 mm, certified by the personnel department of the company, institution or organization where the entrant works; a certified copy of the employment record (if any);
  3. a copy of the diploma of the master or specialist with indication of the acquired specialty (qualification), a copy of the application to it (persons who have received appropriate education abroad - a copy of the recognized diploma);
  4. a copy of the diploma of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Candidate of Sciences) (in the case of obtaining an appropriate education abroad - a copy of a recognized diploma);
  5. a copy of the certificate of awarding the academic title of associate professor (professor), senior researcher (senior researcher);
  6. 2 copies of the identification document and 2 copies of the taxpayer's physical card;
  7. a detailed proposal containing a plan of research work and information on the amount of scientific work necessary to prepare the results of the conducted research for protection;
  8. a written description of the scientific activity of the applicant, drawn up by a doctor of sciences who is a full-time scientific pedagogical or scientific worker of ONUT, with the consent to be a scientific advisor in the case of enrollment for a doctoral degree;
  9. consent to the collection and processing of personal data;
  10. four 30x40 mm color photo cards;
  11. submission to the doctorate of education, scientific institution, organization (for external entrants);
  12. current emergency medical care policy (except for foreigners who came from countries with which the agreement on free medical care was signed);
  13. a list of published scientific works and inventions on the topic of dissertation research (in particular, publications in international refereed journals indexed in scientometric bases, in accordance with the requirements for the level of scientific qualification of persons who obtain the degree of doctor of sciences), published after the defense of the candidate's dissertation;
  14. an excerpt from the minutes of the meetings of the Department and the Academic Council of the relevant ONUT educational and scientific institute with recommendations for admission to doctoral studies;
  15. a copy of the certificate of a foreign Ukrainian (if any).
The document certifying the person, the diploma of the master or the specialist with the appendix to it, the diploma on awarding the scientific degree of doctor of philosophy or candidate of sciences, the certificate on the awarding of the scientific title of associate professor (professor), senior researcher (senior research associate) are submitted. Copies of documents will not be accepted without the originals.
