What to know after receiving an invitation
After receiving an invitation to study, foreign applicants must contact the nearest Ukrainian embassy and obtain a long-term visa type D "Student visa".
In order to apply for a Student Visa, a foreign applicant must have an original letter of invitation and original legalized educational documents issued by educational institutions in other countries required for admission.
ARRIVAL TO UKRAINE Before arriving in Ukraine, the applicant must notify the International Center of the exact date, time and method of arrival (airplane, train, etc.). The meeting procedure requires a special "Meeting Letter", which is sent to the Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the UDCMO.
After arriving in Ukraine, the applicant submits all the necessary documents for admission to the university to the admissions committee, passes entrance tests, signs a study contract, applies for accommodation in a dormitory and pays for tuition and accommodation in a dormitory.
The Academy ensures the timely submission of documents to the territorial bodies of the State Migration Service of Ukraine for the issuance of temporary residence permits for the period of study to foreigners enrolled in studies in accordance with the procedure established by law. A passport is a document certifying the identity of a foreigner or a stateless person and confirming the legal grounds for temporary residence in Ukraine. The certificate is issued for the period of study, which is determined by the order of the university in accordance with the established periods of study for foreign students.
In order to prepare a complete package of documents for further registration of the Passport, a foreigner or a stateless person who has arrived in Ukraine for the purpose of studying, submits the following documents to the International Center:
a passport or an identity document with a type D (D-13) visa, unless otherwise provided by the legislation and international agreements of Ukraine;
translation into Ukrainian of a passport (or identity document) with personal data certified by a public notary in Ukraine;
valid medical insurance for the entire period of study
