To apply to Cherkasy Bohdan Khmelnytsky National Universityforeigners and stateless persons are to submit the following documents:

• invitations to study;
• a copy of the passport or other document certifying the stateless person (translated into Ukrainian and notarized by the notary or consular service on each checked page);
• birth certificate (legalized copy of the birth certificate with a notarized translation into Ukrainian);
• the original certificate of previous education and its copy (translated into Ukrainian, notarized by the country of education and legalized by the relevant Ukrainian organization abroad, unless otherwise provided by international treaties of Ukraine);
• the original of the diploma supplement and its copy with academic achievements (translated into Ukrainian, notarized by the country of education and legalized by the relevant Ukrainian organization abroad, unless otherwise provided by international treaties of Ukraine);
• medical certificate issued by an official medical institution of the applicant's country of origin, signed within two months before the applicant's arrival in Ukraine (translated into Ukrainian and notarized by a notary or consulate);
• current health insurance;
• 10 photos measuring 3,5 cm x 4,5 cm;
• copy of foreign Ukrainian certificate (if available).

  Recognition of documents on the education of foreigners enrolled in education. Documents on the education of foreigners enrolled in education, issued by educational institutions of other countries, are subject to the procedure of recognition in Ukraine in accordance with the law. To do this, foreign students personally submit all necessary documents to the State Enterprise "Information and Image Center" of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for the recognition procedure and are required to provide a Certificate of Recognition in Ukraine of a foreign educational document ChNU until the beginning of the second semester of the first year of study. According to the results of the procedure of recognition of ChNU decides to continue the education of a foreigner from a level that corresponds to the results of the recognition procedure, or to expel the foreigner. If the Ministry of Education and Science decides to refuse to recognize a document provided by a foreigner on the level of education obtained, including due to its inauthenticity, ChNU expels such a foreigner.
