- Admission of foreigners to study for the bachelor's degree is carried out by the results of entrance tests in the form of an interview in certain subjects and language of study and on the basis of academic rights to continue education provided by a document about the level of education in his country of origin, and taking into account the points of success the right to continue education at the next higher education level in accordance with the law of the country which issued the educational attainment document. Entrance testing programs for bachelor's degrees meet the level of complete general secondary education.
- Enrollment of foreigners to study for the master's degree is carried out by the results of entrance examinations in the form of a foreign language exam and a professional entrance test. A foreigner who enters the KNTU for obtaining a master's degree on the basis of a bachelor's or master's degree obtained in another specialty, is allowed to participate in competitive selection, subject to successful completion of additional entrance test.
