There is no recruitment to the preparatory department now
Pre-university training of foreign citizens at NTU "KhPI" is carried out by two departments - humanities and natural sciences. It has a long history, extensive experience and established good traditions. Training of foreign citizens began in 1973, when the preparatory faculty for foreign citizens was established, and together with it two leading departments were established, which provided quality language training, provided basic knowledge in mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, drawing and contributed to mastering the scientific style of speech from all natural sciences necessary for further study at the university.
During the existence of the faculty, about 8.500 foreign students from 80 countries were trained, who successfully completed the pre-university stage of study and continued their education at NTU "KhPI" and other institutions of higher education in Ukraine.
Currently, the departments have experienced teachers, including 3 professors, 6 associate professors, 8 senior teachers, 1 teacher.
In accordance with the requirements of today, teachers of departments train foreign citizens in two languages - Ukrainian and English in the following areas: engineering, economics, medical and biological. Training is conducted in
