Odesa National Medical University (hereinafter ONMedU) is a member of the International Association of Universities and the International Scientific Committee of UNESCO. The International Association of Universities, founded in 1950 at the initiative of UNESCO, unites about 600 institutions and organizations from 150 countries. Thanks to the international, national and regional levels, it is possible to identify the main trends and problems of modern higher education with the right strategic and tactical management decisions.

      ONMedU is a member of the Association of Medical Education in Europe (Medical Education in Europe) and a partner and a participant in the Bologna Process. It fulfills the position of the Magna Charta Universitatum, a document that declares the most important ethical and general methodological principles of higher education in Europe.

       ONMedU has also received and accepted invitations from the EU Project Director "National Erasmus + Office in Ukraine" to participate in competitions of the EU ERASMUS + Program in the field of higher education. ONMedU employee Lunko S.H. has taken part in the seminar "Development of the national quality assurance system in Ukraine in accordance with the Bologna process: internal quality assurance systems and the National Quality Assurance Agency" in the framework of the EU project "National Erasmus + Office in Ukraine".

       ONMedU has prepared and drafted a Declaration on joining the international consortium e-VERUM. Negotiations and preparations are underway for the formation of the International Club of Honorary Doctors and Visual Professors of ONMedU, for the process of united Honorary Doctors from different countries of Europe and the world.
