1.PARTICIPATION IN INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS, ASSOCIATIONS AND NETWORKS
West Ukrainian National University is a member of such organizations, associations and networks, as:- European university association;
- European Association for International Education;
- Baltic Programme of Universities;
- Magna Charta Universitatum;
- Border University Network (Bialystok);
- The Eastern-European University Network;
- International Cultural and Educational Agency.
2. INTERNATIONAL RANKING SYSTEMS
To confirm its positive image and its growth during 2019, West Ukrainian National University participated in rankting systems that determine the place of HEIs if compared to other national and foreign higher education institutions, form a rating, the authority of the university and promote international recognition and promotion among potential foreigner applicants. These include the following systems:- UniRank (World University Rankings) West Ukrainian National University was in 6th place in Ukraine;
- UI GreenMetric (UI GreenMetric World University Rankings) In September 2018, WUNU became a member of this World Ranking system (initiated by the University of Indonesia). The purpose of the rating is a quantitative, qualitative assessment in accordance with the identified indicators in the field of ecology, university infrastructure, campuses, etc. The main goal of the project is a global partnership for a sustainable future. In 2019, WUNU's GreenMetric UI system updated and increased information on indicators based on which WUNU Environmental Passport was developed;
- West Ukrainian National University is a member of U-Multirank rating system;
- WUNU is a member of Webometrics rating system.
3. INTERNATIONAL AGREEMENTS
The basis of international cooperation of West Ukrainian National University consists of 101 valid and current (as of November 8, 2019) agreements on international cooperation with foreign partner universities from 29 foreign countries, including higher education institutions from 22 European countries, as well as partners from Canada, the USA, China, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Ecuador. During 2019, WUNU signed 15 international agreements with foreign higher education institutions and 5 international agreements with international organizations and associations.
