Once the Invitation letter received, a foreign citizen must submit documents to the Consulate of Ukraine in the country where the foreigner resides to obtain a D-13 visa according to the list provided on the Embassy's website. This list of documents must include the original ‘Invitation for Study’. Documents on previous education must be officially translated into Ukrainian and certified the way accepted in your country (legalized or stamped with an Apostille stamp) before submitting to the consulate. After obtaining a visa and purchasing tickets, you must inform the Kherson State Maritime Academy in advance about your planned date of arrival in Ukraine and send to the e-mail address of the International Students Department (fsksma@gmail.com) a ticket indicating the date of arrival and a flight number. Also, you must provide information about the person who will meet and accompany you from the checkpoint across the state border of Ukraine to the Academy, mentioning his/her name, patronymic (if has any), passport data and contact phone number. This information must be sent to the department's e-mail no later than 5 days before the planned date of arrival. Such information is necessary to make a letter for a meeting of a foreign citizen and to inform in time the State Enterprise "Ukrainian State Center for International Education" (USCIE) and State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
