One of the forms of international integration of Poltava State Medical University is the membership in leading academic organizations, which is an important indicator of internationalization and international recognition. The University is a full member of the International Association of Universities (IAU), the European University Association (EUA), the International Federation of Medical Student Associations (IFMSA) and a signatory of the Magna ChartaUniversitatum. The PSMU is certified by the  Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) / FAIMER and recognized by the Medical Council of India, Ministry of Education of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Pakistan Medical Commission.  According to the results of the international Webometrics rating, the Consolidated rating of  Ukrainian HEIs, the Rating of Ukrainian universities "TOP-200 Ukraine" and the scientometric database SciVerse Scopus, Poltava State Medical University takes a leading position among medical higher  education institutions of Ukraine.
